Bettina Linssen

Affiliate with Inclusion Institute

Bettina is an affiliate partner with Inclusion Institute since 2016.  She was previously at AXA Group in Paris as a Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) manager focusing on Inclusive Culture, Unconscious Bias, Gender Diversity, and Flexible Working.  She was instrumental in fostering a global approach to the organisation’s D&I strategy by supporting the alignment of the local AXA entities’ D&I initiatives to the AXA Group D&I Strategy. Bettina was the project lead in the design and organization of the first global AXA Women’s Conference, and also rolled out across 6 entities their Sponsorship Talent Program, focused on the promotion of female top talents to executive level.  Based on her expertise in D&I and unconscious bias, she co-developed and rolled out globally across AXA an e:learning course on Unconscious Bias. She is a MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) Certified Coach and integrates this in her work on inclusion.

In recognition of her expertise, Bettina has been invited to present at many workshops and webinars, on topics including “An Introduction to Diversity & Inclusion”, “Unconscious Bias”, and “Flexible Working”.  She is a well-experienced facilitator and trainer in multiple languages.

Bettina previously held roles supporting AXA’s executive education programs, was an events manager consultant for Mazda Motor Europe, and was a translator and interpreter for a wide-range of clients. She graduated with a degree in translation from the Faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics and Cultural Studies in Germersheim, Germany.

Bettina is bi-cultural (French and German), speaks fluently 4 languages (German, French, English, & Spanish), grew up in Germany, and before moving to Paris has also lived in Spain, Belgium, Turkey, and Bolivia. She is passionate about long distance running and mountain hiking, and social justice and environmental causes.  She currently lives with her Chilean partner and her young son in Bielefeld, Germany.
